Webinar with Magnus Karlsson: Rethinking an Innovation Framework with ISO 56002: Professional Innovation Management Standards
On July 22, with the invitation of IMRC, Magnus Karlsson, a leading innovation expert, and innovation project manager at the RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, attended the webinar.
In this webinar, Dr. Magnus first gave an overview of the global innovation background. He considered that now we all realize that innovation is more critical now than ever with major shifts in the market and consumer preferences while innovation initiatives have frequently failed. Then he introduced the professional innovation management system, which is ISO 56002. Innovation Management System standard provides guidance for organizations to establish, implement, maintain, and improve their innovation management system to help evaluate and drive current innovation performance. At last, he made some reflections based on Haier's Rendanheyi model. Dr. Magnus led participants to learn how to increase the potential of successfully executing innovation projects and how ISO 56002 fits Haier's unique Rendanheyi principles as a benchmark for other organizations.
